What we publish

Our public library is intentionally limited to articles that meet a source and review threshold. Each published guide identifies a concrete change or decision, states who it affects, distinguishes official facts from editorial interpretation, and ends with the primary references used.

Older reviews, rankings, comparisons, and generic articles that do not meet this standard are not part of the public site.

Research standard

Before a guide is published, it must:

• Use at least two named official or primary sources
• State publication and review dates for time-sensitive claims
• Explain availability, eligibility, pricing, or policy conditions where relevant
• Separate vendor statements from our practical interpretation
• Include limitations, unresolved questions, and a reader-verifiable checklist

Automation and release control

Automated tools may assist with source discovery, drafting, link checks, and mechanical validation. They cannot make a page public. New content defaults to archived and requires a separate editorial release approval after its primary sources, current facts, added analysis, internal links, and unsupported experience claims are checked.

The unattended daily publishing job was disabled on August 12, 2026. Publication now fails closed: an unapproved draft is omitted from article routes, search, the sitemap, the RSS feed, and machine-readable site summaries.

Hands-on claims

Documentation research is not the same as hands-on product testing. We only describe a result as our test when the page presents the task, setup, date, output, and evidence needed to understand that result. A guide without that evidence should be read as source-based research, not a laboratory or user test.

Byline and accountability

AIToolWeigh Editorial is a shared publication byline, not a fictional named expert. It identifies work released under this methodology; it does not imply hands-on testing or professional credentials.

Updates and corrections

AI products change quickly. Material revisions receive an updated date. If a factual error is reported, we check it against the relevant primary source and correct the article rather than silently preserving a known error. Use the correction form and include the page URL and supporting source.

Editorial independence

Some pages may contain clearly labeled affiliate links. A commercial relationship is not accepted as evidence and does not waive the sourcing standard. Vendors cannot buy a rating, ranking, or favorable conclusion.
